Webcast for Ernie
Global jam session webcast Hard Hittin' Harry is accustomed to producing an "experience." And now the Haitian-born deejay, who works with The Earthman Experience world music ensemble, is touting his weekly webcast mixshow, "Global Jam Session - Live from Brooklyn." Since June, Harry has been providing a novel cultural experience online and in person through a musical one-two punch - an afternoon Internet session on Tuesdays and an evening session broadcast live from Brooklyn's new Vodou Bar and simulcast online over the ustream.tv website. This Thursday's show at the Vodou Bar, 95 Halsey St. (at Nostrand Ave.), will feature a benefit for noted hip-hop photographer Ernie Paniccioli, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Donations will be accepted at the fund-raiser, which also will feature an installation of Paniccioli's works. As seen in his 2002 book "Who Shot Ya: Three Decades of Hip Hop Photography," the Brooklyn-born photographer has captured a who's-who in the hip-hop genre over his career. The Global Jam mix show airs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays. And 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursdays, the music comes from the Vodou Bar. After Thursday's simulcast ends, the hits keep on coming - Hard Hittin' Harry provides music until the bar closes. The direct link to the Thursday broadcast is www.ustream.tv/channel/the-global-jam-session--live-from-brooklyn. Dallas Penn Article

Great article about health care that includes mention of Ernie. It's hard but it's real. Legendary Hip Hop Photographer has cancer. How can you help?
Legendary Hip Hop photographer Ernie Paniccioli has cancer and over the next 5 weeks will be doing radiation therapy 5 days a week. He has already incurred medical bills over $40,000. If you could help promote this page in any way or give any amount regardless of how small, we would really appreciate it. Currently he has over 4 thousand friends on Facebook. If each person donated $10 we could raise 40k almost immediately. Please feel free to donate more, but if all you can donate is a couple dollars or even ONE dollar, that will help. Let's show Ernie that Hip Hop takes care of its own!
